CWI chrome plating is "triple chrome" or "show chrome" which means that the part is first polished, then copper plated, polished, nickel plated and finally chrome plated. This process, while expensive, gives a lasting beauty.
Where possible, all parts are made without welding, but when welding is necessary, it is carefully polished to a smooth finish before chroming. This process inhibits the formation of rust, to produce an accessory that still looks new, years after installation.
All CWI accessories are "bolt on". You are never required to file, bend or hammer to make the parts fit.
CWI designers study each metric cruiser individually to create unique accessories. Some products are universal, but quite often the accessories fit just one bike. Every effort is made to make products that are the best, and the best looking, available on the market.
